Dr. Eric Evans

Dr. Eric Evans is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over twenty-five years of clinical experience caring for patients across the full spectrum of medicine in Southern Utah. He served as Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia at Dixie Regional Medical Center, where he oversaw care for complex open heart surgeries, labor and delivery, neurosurgical cases, general operating room procedures, trauma patients, and chronic and acute pain clinics.

Dr. Evans co-founded Desert Sands Aesthetics & Laser in 2020 alongside his wife Shannon Evans, RN, bringing his physician-level oversight and passion for patient wellbeing to the medical aesthetics field. He serves as medical director of all programs at Desert Sands and is personally available to provide MD-supervised comfort sedation for patients undergoing intensive laser treatments — a service no other medical spa in Southern Utah offers.

Dr. Evans is also a certified BioTE provider, overseeing all hormone replacement therapy and wellness programs at Desert Sands. His background in anesthesiology and pain management gives him a uniquely comprehensive view of patient comfort, physiology, and the relationship between hormonal health and overall wellbeing.
